A father often holds the responsibility for providing for the family. Working hard to provide necessities like food, water and shelter may require a father to look for decent ways to earn. But what if there aren’t any opportunities open for you to earn?
A certain Filipino from Iloilo was spotted collecting garbage from a river. He is Freddie Osalya, who was seen pulling a long a couple of floating containers full of plastic garbage. In his determination to be able to feed his family, he went in the river and collected a huge amount of garbage to be able to sell then in the local junkshop. Looking at the quantity of plastic he collected, we can assume he earned enough to feed his family for a couple of days.
Seeing the photo, one would be torn if they would feel pity for the man’s circumstances or for the huge amount of trash he collected floating in the river. He might be aware of the dangers of what he is doing but in order to survive, one would do anything. Rmn Iloilo wrote that Osalya chose to ignore the dangers of collecting garbage in murky waters.
